When a player opens a vehicle's boot, the trunk opens physically, the camera transitions into position, and stored items are displayed as 3D props directly inside the vehicle. Players can organize their storage visually while still using ox_inventory for the actual inventory system, keeping physical layouts completely separate from real item data.

Prism 3D Trunks is designed as an immersive visual layer on top of ox_inventory, not a replacement for its inventory logic. All real item transfers remain handled by ox_inventory. Prism reads the resulting inventory and creates the corresponding 3D scene. The prism_trunk_layout database table stores only the vehicle plate, inventory slot, position, and rotation required for the visual arrangement.
